If you are craving for a food trip, there is no better destination than the Culinary Capital of the Philippines — Pampanga. Culture Shock PH’s Pampanga Food & Heritage Tour takes you on a mouthwatering journey of food, faith, and more food! In this tour, you will get to meet a food historian whose lifework is to keep heirloom recipes alive, learn how the Mt. Pinatubo eruption buried a town and its 12-meter high church, have refreshments before touring a world-class furniture factory and showroom, explore a magnificent church hand painted from wall to ceiling, and enjoy an afternoon snack of comforting Kapampangan favorites.

Among the dishes that you would savor in this gastronomic tour are bringhe (sticky rice cooked in turmeric and coconut milk), tidtad (pork meat and blood cooked in vinegar), bobotong asan (stuffed milkfish stuffed with alagao leaves), and morcon (meatloaf enriched with chorizo and queso de bola). Along the way, you will hear many stories that paint a colorful tapestry of Kampampangan culture.

Through Pampanga’s food, heritage, and art, you will be sure to return home with not only a satisfied belly but also with a greater appetite for Philippine culture and tradition.
